NotOut audits the sportsbooks Bangladeshi bettors use, and part of that work is helping readers bet — if they choose to bet at all — in a way that stays enjoyable and in their control. This page explains what we look for, what to watch for in yourself, and where to find support.

2. NotOut Is Not a Betting Operator

NotOut does not accept deposits, hold player funds, or take bets. We are an independent editorial desk. The responsible-gaming tools available to you — deposit, loss and session limits, and self-exclusion — are set up directly with whichever sportsbook you use, under that operator's own account settings.

3. Eligibility and Age Restriction

Our content is intended for adults only. You must be 18 or older, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to act on anything published on this Site. If you believe someone under 18 is accessing betting content or a betting account, please contact the operator directly and, if it relates to something we published, let us know.

4. What We Look For When We Audit a Sportsbook

As part of our audit process we test a book's account tools first-hand — how easy it is to set a deposit or loss limit, how self-exclusion works, and how support handles a sensitive request. This section is a placeholder: we do not currently publish a standardised responsible-gaming score for each audited operator, and we recommend confirming a specific book's limit and self-exclusion tools directly on its own site before you rely on them.

5. Tools Worth Looking For

Whichever sportsbook you use, look for the ability to set your own deposit, loss and session limits, and a self-exclusion option that lets you take a break for a fixed period or indefinitely. A platform that makes these tools hard to find or slow to activate is worth treating with caution.

6. Recognising the Signs

Betting should stay a form of entertainment. It may be worth stepping back and using an operator's limit or self-exclusion tools if you notice yourself chasing losses, spending more time or money than you planned, borrowing to fund play, or if betting is starting to affect your work, relationships or mood. These are signs worth taking seriously, and acting early is a reasonable step, not just a last resort.

7. Support Organisations

If betting is becoming difficult to control, independent support is available beyond what any single operator offers.
